This venue is just stunning. It's the first one we saw, and we instantly fell in love with it. Every part of this venue is beautiful - the outdoor ceremony space, carriage house, banquet room and pavilion. When you start with an already beautiful canvas, it makes it easy to accent with. The bridal cottage and groom's apartment also make for a wonderful getting ready spots. It's a perfect ceremony and reception space, and has beautiful spots for many pictures. Charlotte folks, don't rule it out just because it's in Mooresville - it's really not that far. Lillian, the owner is passionate about her space and super helpful and accommodating, and just wonderful to work with. This truly is a MUST look at spot for your big day. I couldn't have dreamed up a better spot, and our guests were blown away by it as well.

We cannot say enough good things about Johnson Carriage House & Meadows! As soon as we toured it we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. Lillian is absolutely amazing. Her communication is excellent and she really makes the process as easy as possible for you. Not only is her communication great (which I can’t stress enough) she’s very flexible and also very sweet. We enjoyed all our meetings with her. The venue itself is just stunning. There are so many beautiful places on the grounds that are all within a short walk. All our guests could not stop talking about what a wonderful venue it was. Even after the wedding Lillian has still been helpful. We are thrilled we selected Johnson Carriage House & Meadows for our wedding. If she has a date that works for you take it ASAP!

My husband and I and our family and friends were so impressed with the level of beauty, options, and service offered by Johnson Carriage House. Even almost a year later we are still getting compliments on how beautiful the venue was. Lillian Johnson is such a pleasure to work with and she made every detail we wanted a reality, even accommodating our ceremony to a specific location based on our small guest list. There are so many locations available for use on the Estate for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and we loved that both the bride and groom could get ready on the Estate and the bride could stay both the night before the wedding and bride and groom the night of the wedding! We would definitely recommend Johnson Carriage House!

Johnson Carriage and Meadows is such a dreamy venue! I was married there last weekend and couldn't have asked for a better experience! Lillian, the owner is such a pleasure to work with. She was accommodating and very helpful throughout the entire process. I toured this venue back in February and knew that I would not need to see any other venues! There are so many options on the Estate and it's so beautiful. We had the best time and loved every second we spent here! If you want a charming venue with antique vibes this is the place for you!

Lillian and the Johnson Carriage House and Meadows helped to make my wedding dreams come true! The venue is BEAUTIFUL! From the ceremony to cocktail hour, reception, then dancing late night, the venue provided a unique setting for each part of the wedding. Because everything was onsite it made it so easy on my guests and helped to keep everyone on schedule. The best part of using this venue is working with Lilian. She is so kind and hands on from start to finish. She goes above and beyond to ensure your day is special!! If you are indecisive of what venue to choose worry not.... The beautiful grounds had several different options for the ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour; providing a wealth of amazing places to celebrate your special day. Lillian is attentive and answers any and all questions you may have. It made planning our Wedding Day that much easier by having someone you can trust, available throughout the process. This venue is AMAZING! And Lillian is a wonderful calming force and can change seemingly effortlessly with changing circumstances. There are so many wonderful options with the many places on the Estate-- when our weather forecast went from partially sunny and 72, to 50s and rainy we were so concerned, but the heating in the spaces was perfect and our guests loved the atmosphere

We fell in love with the Estate the first time we toured and could not have picked a better location! The Estate is stunning and kept in excellent condition, the groomsmen had a perfect place to get ready, and the bridesmaids and I loved spending the night in the cottage the night before and having a special place to get ready all day! The different places within the Estat efor each part of the day/evening make this an extra special, very unique venue. Lillian (the venue owner) is an absolute joy to work with. She was very easy to communicate with the entire time and was wonderful about opening up the Estate to me and my family multiple times while we were planning and dreaming up decor ideas! She also had fabulous recommendations for vendors who were absolute rock stars!

Johnson Carriage House was the most amazing wedding venue my husband and I could have ever asked for! They are so incredibly accommodating! We went out I’d say at least 5 times to take measurements and the owner Lillian never even questioned it. She let us come out as many times as we needed to make sure our day was perfect! She also allowed me and my bridesmaids to stay in the bridal cottage the nights before the wedding and it was so charming and relaxing! If you are looking for a venue THIS IS THE ONE! There are so many places to hold the ceremony and reception. The Estate is impeccably taken care of too! So glad we choose to get married here!
